“THIS IS ME. THIS IS LATUS”
Well if you have made it this far you are interested in the work I have done or you at least like the #designingforcommunity” catchphrase. As the world continues to evolve, grow, and suffer with covid and protests, I find this a unique but important time to announce Latus Studio. For some time, I have contemplated opening my own studio so I could share and grow my own voice. I have never been one to put work I have been involved with on display so hitting the “make public” button on the website was a tough thing to do!
When I started Latus Studio 8 months ago, I gave myself until my 40th birthday to see where it would go. I have turned down a couple of good offers and thought about different career options, but in the end I am an architect. Since moving to Columbus, I have learned and seen architecture involve into a service business while also starting to place itself at the front of environmental and social stewardship. Since the beginning, the question that always seems to be at the forefront is “how does the design make the community a better place?” My hope is to help answer that question with every project and absorb and utilize all of the great thinkers I have and plan to come across. This is ME. This is LATUS.
